Terms and Conditions

Contract

Once you have completed your booking enquiry we will supply you an invoice with all details of the rental details, not limited to but including Number of people agreed to booking, equipment agreed, hire dates agreed, method of receipt of equipment, name of adult who will act as the Hirer. Once you commit to paying your deposit the invoice and these terms of condition act as our contract.

Period of hire if from receipt of the equipment until the return of equipment.

Hirer Responsibility

1. To hire you must be of the age eighteen (18) years or over.
2. The Hirer accepts absolute legal liability and is responsible for all hire equipment detailed on the invoice provided.
3. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure all items required are covered on the invoice / contract.
4. If more than 1 adult is part of a group booking the responsibility falls to the adult who is named on the invoice as this creates the contract.
5. It is the responsibility of the hirer to return all equipment hired in the same state as received, Any loss or damage beyond agreed wear and tear shall be paid for by the hirer, initial recovery of damage costs will be taken from security deposit paid for at time of final booking payment.
6. Our equipment included flammable material therefore we have a strict no smoking policy within any of our tents or within close proximity of any of our equipment.
7. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure no cooking is allowed in the tents, some of our tents have canopies if needed for cooking, It is also the responsibility of the hirer to be aware of the dangers of Carbon Monoxide (CO) when hiring our equipment.
8. Unless agreed as part of the contract, it is the hirers responsibility to arrange and pay for their relevant campsite and use our equipment aligned with the campsite terms and conditions.
9. It is the responsibility of the hirer to book the correct requirements from the campsite such as pitch size, hook up etc.
10. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure where the tent is pitched, they have the owner of the land's permission.
11. It is the hirers responsibility to dispose of any used gas canisters correctly, these are the only items Easy Camping Ltd do not expect to be returned.
12. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure you have the correct insurance cover during the period of hire.
13. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure all equipment if used correctly, any damage or incorrect use that causes your hire to be stopped early will still have you liable for all of the costs related to the full hire period.
14. It is the hirers responsibility to notify Easy Camping Ltd as soon as possible for any missing items, damaged items or loss of items.
15. It is the responsibility for the hirer to return equipment.
16. Hirer accepts responsibility for any charges relating to failed delivery or collections and damage to unattended transport packaging.
17. In the event of theft of equipment, it is the hirer responsibility to report the theft to the Police and obtain a crime reference number. The hirer must then notify Easy Camping Ltd ASAP but no later than 48hrs of the theft.
18. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the correct details are entered when making bank transfer payments.
19. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the correct bank details are provided to Easy Camping Ltd for the return of any refund payments.

Easy Camping Ltd

1. During the extent of the hire period all equipment remains the property of Easy Camping Ltd
2. Please note that our every intention is for you to have an enjoyable experience, however we do retain the rights to have to alter the agreed contract when circumstances are out of our control. We will inform you accordingly if this should arise.
3. Easy Camping Ltd accept no responsibility for any illness, injury, death, loss or damage of any nature to any persons or property relating directly or indirectly to any aspects of your booking / our contract.
4. Easy Camping Ltd accept no responsibility for any loss of personal possessions or hired possessions sustained during your hire period no matter how it was caused.
5. Easy Camping Ltd accept no responsibility for any unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control that will impact the hire period, such as but not exclusive to road closures, extreme weather conditions, hirer vehicle failure, courier vehicle failure.
6. Easy Camping Ltd go into contract with hirer on the basis the hirer has agreed to use all equipment responsibly.
7. Easy Camping Ltd will always be fair when reviewing damage and if equipment can be repaired and then remain acceptable to hire this will be choice over having to implement replacement charges.

Booking / Payment / Cancellation

1. At time of booking a 10% deposit is required
2. Payment in full must be paid no later than 21days before hire period starts.
3. Security deposit shall also be paid in full at the same time as final payment.
4. Security deposit shall be held from payment during the hire period and then up to 7 days after hire period has ended to allow for inspection of all equipment hired, any disputes will causing the security deposit to be held until dispute has been settled.
5. All equipment will be inspected upon return, any damages (examples detailed in FAQ on Easy Camping Ltd webpage) or loss of equipment will invoke a deduction in the security deposit.
6. Should the need for a deduction to be made from the security deposit for any damage Easy Camping Ltd will notify the hirer of the reason for this.
7. Should the hirer fail to pay either security deposit or remainder of hire payment then Easy Camping Ltd reserves the rights to treat this as a request to cancel the booking and contract.
8. If you decide to cancel before 21days of the hire start date you will lose your full deposit.
9. If you decide to cancel within 21 days of the hire start date you will only receive back 50% of your total hire cost, you will receive back your full security deposit and any delivery costs.
10. If you decide to cancel less than 2days of the hire start date you will lose your total hire cost, you will receive back your full security deposit, due to having already set up the delivery, delivery charges will be lost.
